The Boss - Gator Days
Panel 1 Stuart is at the front door of August's home. He has brought forms that that need to be filled out before the end of the year. What exactly are these forms for? I don't know. I don't think Stuart knows. No one even knows where they come from. Stuart: Sorry to bother you at home, big man. I appreciate your help. August: It's no problem Panel 2 Gustopher is playing a video game while Mewbert rests next to him. He saw the unfamiliar visitor wants to know what that was all about. Gustopher: Who was that? August: My boss. He was dropping off some forms. Panel 3 Gustopher: YOUR BOSS? But you're bigger than him. August: Being bigger doesn't mean I'm in charge. Gustopher is perplexed by this situation. Surely his father, one of the largest individuals he's known, could simply arm wrestle all the others in the office and claim domination. Panel 4 Gustopher: So he's older? August: I think I'm a little older. Gustopher: How do adults decide who is in charge? August: With money. The world once again makes less sense. Once he believes he's gained a level of understanding about how the systems of the world works, his view is shattered yet again. This is a trend that will continue through out the rest of Gustopher's life.

It is traditional in Iceland to give the gift of a book to be opened on Christmas Eve. Books are unwrapped and then read together. It is called Jolabokaflod (Christmas book flood). 📖 🎄
