Honestly, I appreciate you pointing out the shift. I added a picture to a recent question for flavor because I had seen others doing so, but I felt pretty uncomfortable about having done so afterwards and couldn't put my finger on why.

Real life stuff, I just removed an older patient's sutures and she was great. She stared right at them the whole time, "because it's just so satisfying to watch," and kept saying things like, "You're doing such a great job, sweetheart." Responded to my "let me know if I'm hurting you" with "pshht."

Winter weather and cold climates give Rain'li a thick coat on his tail and ears that is likely to mat if he doesn't take care of it, and this was most of the year in Sharlayan. He was very displeased by the shed that occurred the first time he traveled to a warmer climate.

Because of Ga Bu. Rain'li had always found the relationships between the Eorzean city-states and the "beast tribes" to be oppressive and distasteful from a theoretical standpoint, but when he and Alisaie found Ga Bu together it was the catalyst for finally turning that theory into action.
