For the record, Fetterman was a mayor and Lt Governor before running for senator. And there are about 100 articles about the platner tattoo story, so I am not sure they are gining him a pass. Support who you want, but make rational arguments.

I don’t think Beto will run, but he has done more than anyone to unfuck Texas for Dems. Beyond getting closer than anyone ever dreamed in 2018 and again being a sacrificial lamb in 2020, he has been working to register democrats and build the state party while the DNC ignores the state.

He must have missed the memo about the purity test of experience in local government.
