Retired Albertan. I’ll call out disinformation and misinformation. Let’s be kind, though.
He has something wrong with his eyes but it’s not serious or contagious, he said.

Since the AB govt’s aim is to cripple public healthcare so that privatization can be brought in, it is obvious why vaccines were downplayed + made difficult to obtain. Any govt that wanted to reduce patients in hospital beds would have vigorously promoted flu shots from the start.

It’s my understanding that only the organizers (who were later found guilty of crimes) had their bank accounts frozen, not truckers or supporters. Am I wrong?

The majority of Albertans want nothing to do with separation. It’s the yappy minority (mostly from rural areas) that believe in this fantasy. The rest of us are embarrassed by these rubes. They are not deep thinkers.

Do you know anything about diplomacy or how things are accomplished in politics?

Are they TRYING to remain unelectable? Do they honestly think the majority of Canadians want to go backwards? Oh well, let them dig themselves into a deeper hole. Works for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The UCP never wanted to fix the problems in HC in Alberta because privatization is their goal. Prove me wrong if you disagree.

My neighbour in Edmonton fractured her ankle in three places on Monday. On Tuesday she was one of 18 waiting for surgery. She finally got her surgery yesterday (Friday). Congratulations, Danielle. Your plan to force people to pay for HC is forging ahead as you planned.

I’m not sure how you can know what Carney’s plan is. You can make a guess but that will be revealed in coming days.

Any time someone in the comments implies that he or she is smarter than Mark Carney, I have to shake my head. Hold your outrage, my friends. Give it a minute, I say.

YOU seem to jump to conclusions a little too easily. As you admitted later, more context is needed. This was only European leaders.

There is a reason that a college education is prohibitively expensive in the US and free in countries such as Iceland. I mean, look at the results when it comes to the intellectual levels of the countries.

That tracks. Studies have shown that the more education a person has, the more likely he is to vote Liberal.

Think how much better daily life would be for Albertans with a premier who worked for the people and not her cronies and puppet masters.

Ann, my hope is that this attack on Venezuela will serve as a wake-up call for the “separatist curious” in Alberta. The vast majority of us in Alberta are anti-separation, as you rightly say. I have a feeling that majority just grew in the last day.
January 5, 2026 at 2:58 AM
I’m pretty sure PM Carney agrees.

They are so deluded, they think they won’t have to pay any taxes!🤦🏻‍♀️

I knew it was sarcastic when he said AIMCo was solid and trustworthy.

Her intention was never to improve AHS, but to tank it so privatization could be brought in. The entire province needs to get this through their heads before the next provincial election.
