Tumblefire Multiplayer is in private beta on Steam as of this week.

We'll be moving into open beta once we're satisfied with networked performance for looting, shooting, burning, climbing, and at least 15 NPCs from each faction at once!

Spent all day yesterday bug-testing, performance is great, I am just chasing down some final bugs with sprite layering, production stats in topbar not updating as expected, and the run modifiers not showing their bonus/penalty on hover!

I can't say much, but I can say there's a major FREE update cooking for Tumblefire and we'll be releasing it on the "beta" branch once it's ready for playtesting. Every game system from the original Tumblefire design document, 100 years of Tumblefire.

230 units? Not a frame dropped, no sweat.

Thanks to playtester suggestions and a few days of refactoring, Starbrew 0.9.30 runs about 8x faster on laptops, and you can go into the THOUSANDS of units with almost no performance degradation.

Just finished new localization selection interface for main menu, making it much much easier to change languages, especially if you can't read the English menus to get to language selection.
