She’s one of those kind of white women that can’t fathom the idea of rising beyond their place in society so they hold on to that station and the few advantages it gives them with a desperate grip. In a way she’d be ‘looking out’ for Via by helping her integrate into Goetia society

I like to write her as both a victim and a tool of the patriarchy- she knows her place so when someone doesn’t fit it (for example, Stolas being an effeminate gay man) she wants to correct it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Stella tries to correct Octavia by grooming her on behalf of the patriarchy

Yasss I rlly feel like. Stella is deeply unhappy w her lot in life but it’s likely she wouldn’t feel safe rebelling against say, her father/brother/paimon etc- unfortunately that leaves Stolas to be her punching bag bc he’s very sensitive and I’m willing to bet she could sense that upon meeting him
