Exactly…I’ve been shopping Lowe’s for years and when I had my really old house, any local hardware stores to get the specific pieces to fit those older beauties

Just gorgeous…I was recently in Rome for the first time and was in awe of the centuries old beauty that seemed to be just around every corner. Also visited Assisi and Cortona and their magnificent medieval cathedrals and churches…they were all fantastic!!

Just volunteered at a local pantry yesterday & was told within the first 2 weeks of the shutdown, they had an additional 900+ families sign up for assistance. And more since. Donate $$ if you can- the food banks can buy more with your dollar than you can and at least where I am, $1 can buy 3 meals.

I’m sure he’s just seething at losing to a Venezuelan woman who won for “…her work promoting democratic rights and the peaceful transition to democracy in Venezuela. She is recognized for her courage in advocating for free elections…”. It made me all warm and fuzzy knowing she won.

Agreed but wouldn’t it be nice to have the option to STOP the collection of all taxes during times of a government shutdown? They aren’t working so my $$ shouldn’t be collected to pay those who can’t get their heads outta their asses.

My sister is protesting against “summerween” 🤣…mainly because the crap out there we keep seeing is pastel colors and not at all spooky so I get the pushback, but I know pumpkin spice is already on its way to the shelves so this summerween nonsense will be short lived anyway
