The fact that you can't even leave him a voice mail outside of office hours is a pretty clear indication of how much he cares about his constituents. I just typed out message of his f-ing website.

Just to clarify, this is me giving Roberts a HUGE benefit of the doubt & imagining for a millisecond that he's not just a racist.

I've never understood his position but it finally clicked for me: he's like the doctors 200 years ago who refused to wash their hands when Semmelweis told them to because "doctors are gentlemen & gentlemen's hands are clean." So they just kept freely spreading germs & killing people.

I agree Pritzker is infinitely better than Newsom. Just maybe don't trivialize the justifiable criticisms of Newsom as "turning up your nose".
