Most feel unrepresented by a two-party system.
Until either more parties become viable to represent the ~45% of registered voters who feel the RNC and DNC do not represent us and/or ranked choice replaces all forms of elections in the U.S. (including presidential) nothing will change.

The Democratic Party is not a friend of The People and they only help those who tow the centrist line. I really wish progressives would get together and form a new party that is of, for, and by The People (not corps) because we deserve representation under a Party that advocates progressive values.

I hate having to vote for the barely less shitty party every fucking election. By and large, the DNC has done nothing to deserve my vote and I despise being forced to exercise my civic duty for a feckless party that doesn’t even represent me or other progressives.

I know BlueSky is filled with pacifists, but the 2A exists for this set of circumstances.
It appears the U.S. isn’t worth fighting for and that Trump seems to be banking on everyone maintaining a pacifist position. So far, The People are doing exactly as he expects…protests do nothing to stop him.

I hope everyone back home, or anyone considering visiting the U.S. in the next few years, stays safe. With all of the horrible ICE stories posted on a daily basis, I fear that will not be the case. 😕

As an American who served the U.S. for three decades, I moved to the other side of the world a week before that traitor took office. I read P2025 in 2023…I knew this shit was coming and I wasn’t sticking around, especially as a POC with a Hispanic last name, to become a victim of Trump’s fascism.
