Engineering society owned and ran the pub (upstairs of the campus bookstore - the mosh pits were structurally questionable). It was open in the evenings, but it was Ritual that was the thing. Noon-6pm every Friday. There were some chips, but otherwise just beer and a couple bar choices

In university, after coming home from all day at the engineering pub on Fridays, my housemate and I would fire up the bbq. I'd make my "Heather's famous bbq sauce, never the same sauce twice". 😁
