We all need to wake up. We are not "sliding towards" an authoritarian regime. It's no longer a matter of "We had better do something, before we come under complete authoritarian control." That time has come and gone. Congress and the courts did too little and waited far too long to stop it.

Dear Congress: You could easily get him out of office if you worked together, but instead you cower and fear for your jobs. Stand the f*ck up and take our country back! What on earth are you waiting for? There will be a reckoning before long.

Any president who lies, commits criminal acts, and attacks US residents over political differences isn't courageous or principled - they are selfish, intolerant, and have failed to meet the basic duty of the office of the presidency; which is to ensure the laws of this nation are faithfully executed

To Trump, Pam Bondi, and the DOJ: I guess you were right, you ARE the most transparent administration in history. So transparent, that we can see right through you. The only reason you didn't release more files today is because you ran out of black ink.

Today, demolishing of the White House began in order to build a private ballroom... built by billionaires - for billionaires - in the middle of a government shutdown. I'd like to think that it doesn't get more surreal than this, but I would probably be wrong.
