A couple more fountain pens—these live at work. Top (red) is a Platinum Prefonte with a really broad M nib, especially for a Japanese pen. Bottom is a Kaweco Student—an underrated pen, IMHO. Interestingly enough, it uses the same nib as the better—known Sport. #fountainpens

A couple more fountain pens—these live at work. Top (red) is a Platinum Prefonte with a really broad M nib, especially for a Japanese pen. Bottom is a Kaweco Student—an underrated pen, IMHO. Interestingly enough, it uses the same nib as the better—known Sport. #fountainpens
The Schaeffer student pen, circa 1950s. My mom used to have one of these that was given to her by her parents. As a kid, it was the very first fountain pen I ever used before it disappeared. Last year, I picked up this one for myself and got another one for my mom to replace her long lost pen.

I’m really into #fountainpens and I will be showing off my collection here. This Jinhao 9016 is one of my more recent acquisitions. I like the extra large converter and it writes surprisingly nicely. This one is designated for my shimmer inks.
