Pork is very cheap! I bought an 8+ lb pork loin for $16 and change. Cut into 8 pieces, vacuum sealed and froze.
The above cut of loin about $2.15!! Whole entre that feeds 2 almost twice $6 at most!

Looks fabulous and delicious! Made whipped cream spiked with brandy to make more festive! Spiked tort with a little brandy too. We had 5 pies, 2 torts and a cake!

I couldn't even read the whole article! Makes me sick. The saying is a saying for a reason! "There is a sucker born every minute!" The founders are a prime example of what Machiavelli was talking about.

Wow! Yours are still going! I'm in western New York state and my blanket flowers have succumbed to fall! LOL We have already had multiple hard frosts and snow. See them again in the spring!

I baked 2 of the #GF pear filled pastries from frozen. Applied an egg wash using an egg beaters type product and a sprinkle of turbinado sugar. 400°F for about 26 minutes and YUM!

This is the time we help our neighbors! If those of us who can donate just one item to a food bank we will be ok for now. Proper food is not a privilege IT IS A RIGHT OF BEING HUMAN!
