I really wanted to walk out of Drop Dead Fred but it was an organised youth group activity so I couldn't really. And The Master I almost walked out of as well because I couldn't understand a damn word anyone was saying - bad sound, mumbling...?

2019 is a year of lots and lots of good to very good films but there's nothing there that makes me really excited (I have (perhaps unfairly) soured on OUATIH). Theres also nothing I dislike in that pile. I know my general apathy towards 2019 is a hot take (as I said on @neverendingwl.bsky.social)

She was perfect in the role, Rutherford and Lansbury werent frail enough for me if you know what I mean? Hickson was this tiny unassuming little old lady.

And of course if you want to start the Nolan education, The Prestige or Batman Begins. I think they're ok for a 10 year old but GenX here watched lots of things too early so what do I know.
