I live here and was raised in church and I don't get it. There's a documentary entitled God and Country that tries explaining it. I still don't understand! Wtf is wrong with people??

Yeah, she went to therapy looking for "permission." If it were given, and she regretted her decision, then she'd blame the therapist, too. It's a no-win for therapists. The article comes off to me as someone chronically unable to be accountable and looking for someone else to make decisions.
