Yeah, and deal with the backlash when they find out you knew all along. It's a hard choice to make, and a shitty situation to be in. you suffer alone and that person will suffer at some point. It's just taking the chances they will never find out at all and their peace will not be taken away 🫤

I would have done the same, I wouldn't want him to worry. Since Oskar is blissfully unaware and Ed has too little informations and had too little time to elaborate himself, dropping the bomb in that specific moment is counterproductive
