Engineering leader in San Diego.
I am torn in whether to talk to the manager at Papa John’s. I feel like a $6.47 delivery free and a $9.70 tip on two large pizzas should have bought enough goodwill to not leave my pizza on the ground. In the 3s to get 10ft to the door, driver was already in car.

I have a ton of respect
For Ukraine and have had similar for Zelensky. Today that respect ratcheted up a few more notches by standing up to the bullies. So much more to say, but good on your sir. Keep fighting!

There are so many scam recruiters out there. Are the days of working with a good recruiter working on your behalf gone?

Someone said something to me and I can't remember if I told them about the situtations or not. This would be a problem, hard to play it off. Oops

I am so enamored with Agglomerative clustering that I think I need to dive deep and write a post. I am not sure why I think it is cool, but would be fun to write about.

I am going to try to start-up my blog again. It was started during Covid and then life came back. Here is one that I wrote tonight about two stories that have been very impactful in my career.

I do not understand the proclamation that SaaS is dead. Seems a really silly assertion and I have seen many parroting it. AI is not taking engineer jobs, software is not gone. Yes some apps are little more than CRUD, but that "some" is a very small amount.

Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering - that's a mouthful

I think I am going to merge my two teams virtually to get this project done. It should allow us to cross pollinate domain and technology knowledge more quickly. At least for the duration of the project.

In the IBM course I am taking, I have to do an analysis of a dataset of my choosing. I am using the 2024 StackOverflow survey data and I am pretty surprised by the amount of countries and that have participated. Pretty crazy.
