I'm convinced support exists just to stall until the issue resolves itself somehow. I've never had a single ticket with Microsoft reach an actual resolution with a logical root cause in probably a decade.

You open a ticket, don't get a call for 5 days, and then when they do call, oops you got the wrong team try again.
