Yes, many other immigrants communities did. Some may have voted for him for single issues, and some because of the zero-sum mindset you had a thread about knowing full well that they may suffer but he makes others suffer more! Not many would admit it though.

You may have a term...there seems to be an underlying assumption in all these apps and ads that "you can't or shouldn't do anything in your life, like tracking your food, and we will do it for you. You have no agency, just a subject of clicks!"

Taking for a moment that morals, perspectives and empathy are for a certain group, which are not, but the abscence of the rudimentary view that what if this was done to a Tea Partier, or an anti-vaxer etc etc, is only explained by hate, hate even to one of 'our own' unless one submits. Quite sad.
