I think the point of the article is that intentional mislabeling of photos is not a valid way to make the case. And one can condemn how Israel’s action have lead to hunger and suffering, even if there isn’t a skeletal famine. Things don’t need to be maximally bad in order to be extremely bad.

The article is pretty factual. I think it is possible to condemn and protest Israel’s actions in Gaza while also integrating a fairly factual report into that view. Not everything has to be the Holocaust, or compared to the Holocaust, to warrant outrage.
