I am literally "world's biggest earthbound fan excited to play it for first time" EXCEPT I rented it once back in 1995 and got to Happy Happy Village. I did not have reasonable expectations of how long RPGs were in those days

The biggest point of contention is always the ending of the show proper (pre-Future) where everybody reconciles, and it's like, what did you expect from a commercial product that's about radical empathy? A re-enactment of the French Revolution?
