I’m a NATO veteran who served in Germany in the late ’70s and learned German by reading Der Spiegel. I had friends who’d lived through Nazism. I can’t believe what’s happening here now. The difference is we have cameras, witnesses, and protesters. Stand up and resist.

As a Vietnam/NATO veteran I would expect nothing less. Only those who have never served would not understand the commitment to our allies.

Sam had a town hall last night for Silicon Valley, 120,000 people signed up and attended, one of whom was me, as I got the invite. I am furious about the Trump Admin ICE operations and am a Vietnam/NATO veteran. I don't want my neighbors murdered on the street. When is your next town hall?

I’ve met Angela at UCSC when she chaired the history of human consciousness program, my girlfriend at the time was working on her PHD. She had a large fearsome looking dog that was actually very friendly and same can be said of her and we a great conversation about dogs.
