When a food truck doesn’t take cash, it unfairly denies someone access to food based on their inability to pay with credit card or smartphone? Isn’t this a tax on the poor?

Businesses should be compelled to take cash, or should get rid of cash as a viable currency. LCD #lowestcurrencydenominator

People are being evacuated due to a wildfire in Kyle (outside Austin), according to the Hays County Sheriff's Department.

Central Texas is seeing 'historic' fire weather today, with high winds and dry conditions.

What’s going on with the air quality in Austin today? Seems like smoke, but there’s no smell. Anyone?

Today: catching up on taxes/admin and staying in my lane: categorizing expenses from last year (where’s the AI for this!?) and watching bike repair videos (bikefarmer on youtube). Got my coffee, cat, and the back door’s open because it’s sunny. Probably nab some El Primo tacos later.

Why is there even a debate about trans people in sports? Why are we gendering sports anyway? Why not just let Tina be the center for the Longhorn Football squad? Why can’t Caleb be the star forward on the hockey team? Who cares what gender (or race, for that matter) is stepping up? Let them play!
