It’s important that our council looks after the voters of other councils and their need to use our neighbourhoods as free park and rides

@stephenjenkinson.bsky.social @this is surely a complete accessibility failure on a route with heavy traffic. Urgent fix needed
November 28, 2025 at 11:29 AM
So lovely to see them relaxed and helmet free. All kids seem to wear helmets in the uk these days
November 27, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Still unhelpfully confusing to anyone not in the know because of the cones and pedestrian diversion sign @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social
November 22, 2025 at 10:49 AM
A single day would cover it. And at one fell swoop it would silence the “pandering to cyclists who get whatever they want” boomers and shouty football men on social media
November 21, 2025 at 5:10 PM
This is absurd. A private company shuts down a heavily used traffic route for two whole months. A route I cycle regularly with my child, and a wholly unsuitable diversion that we won’t be able to use
November 21, 2025 at 11:03 AM
I think you should probably admit your error and delete the post now you realise it’s a joke
November 6, 2025 at 7:19 PM
Give him credit. He was one of the most vehement critics of Brexit at the time and since
October 28, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Absolutely. Johnson tested that assumption of honour to its limits and exposed so many parliamentary gaps that now desperately need filled
October 3, 2025 at 6:58 AM
There’s a lords appointments committee who recommended he not be appointed. Johnson overruled them and appointed him for life anyway
October 2, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Yes, this is why they should be elected and not stacked with failed politicians and mates of prime ministers, current and past
October 2, 2025 at 10:37 PM
It wasn’t the design of it that held it up, but the Scottish governments own process that allowed the progress to be hijacked for extended periods of time by a couple of miserable (and wrong) shop keepers at every turn
September 22, 2025 at 7:44 PM
London constantly cracks on while Scotland gets bogged down in protracted and embarrassingly self imposed process. Remind me how long the canal to meadows via Tollcross has been going on to get exactly less than nowhere? 11, 12 years?
September 21, 2025 at 8:56 PM
For some reason… it’s baffling. That lane wasn’t in the way of anyone or a anything
August 31, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Everywhere inside the bypass should be controlled parking. And charge commuters to cross the bypass into the city. Residents get passes. Why on earth hasn’t this happened
August 29, 2025 at 11:54 AM
Vital that the city council provides free land for on street parking from those who want to commute into Edinburgh from Fife and West Lothian by car. We owe them
August 29, 2025 at 11:50 AM
Can you describe how there is room for that? I can only imagine room for a tram line and no access for anyone else
August 25, 2025 at 8:37 AM
A single road closure to cars in a big city is apparently far too many. Even when there are alternative routes. Something bad must have happened to Kevin Lang to make him so unpleasant. This will be missed
August 15, 2025 at 10:31 PM
This is horrendous
August 8, 2025 at 2:02 PM
So embarrassing, year after year
August 5, 2025 at 9:22 PM
Horrendously devoid of trees
August 1, 2025 at 7:31 AM
Seems a good use of the building but there is zero space in Stockbridge primary for new pupils living in the family flats, which is likely to be a very big hurdle for them in getting approval
July 30, 2025 at 9:25 AM
People travelling to work/school = playing?
You’ll be supportive of protective bike lanes, then, so people have to do minimal mixing with the more dangerous vehicles
