This is absurd. A private company shuts down a heavily used traffic route for two whole months. A route I cycle regularly with my child, and a wholly unsuitable diversion that we won’t be able to use

There’s a lords appointments committee who recommended he not be appointed. Johnson overruled them and appointed him for life anyway

It wasn’t the design of it that held it up, but the Scottish governments own process that allowed the progress to be hijacked for extended periods of time by a couple of miserable (and wrong) shop keepers at every turn

London constantly cracks on while Scotland gets bogged down in protracted and embarrassingly self imposed process. Remind me how long the canal to meadows via Tollcross has been going on to get exactly less than nowhere? 11, 12 years?

Everywhere inside the bypass should be controlled parking. And charge commuters to cross the bypass into the city. Residents get passes. Why on earth hasn’t this happened

Vital that the city council provides free land for on street parking from those who want to commute into Edinburgh from Fife and West Lothian by car. We owe them

A single road closure to cars in a big city is apparently far too many. Even when there are alternative routes. Something bad must have happened to Kevin Lang to make him so unpleasant. This will be missed

Seems a good use of the building but there is zero space in Stockbridge primary for new pupils living in the family flats, which is likely to be a very big hurdle for them in getting approval
