There are many examples of this I agree. The recently read article on Jeff Kennett stopping the Melbourne Airport Link, the Level Crossing works, V/Line upgrades, RRL tracks. Remember they closed the Leongatha, Cobram, Warrnambool, Echuca, Mildura rail lines decimating passenger rail.
