I swear I was allergic to country and western as a kid but I've got over it now. I'm still not a fan, but survived a country and western themed school fair a few years ago so I'm considering myself cured. I even went dressed as a cactus.

So much distrust of SM already and this makes it worse. I just read that US TikTok users are moving to a Chinese platform rather than Reels or YouTube shorts, which I didn't expect. www.theguardian.com/technology/2... I guess that reflects resentment, as well as distrust.

2014 isn't that long ago but recently I realised I couldn't really remember what the old/new 🙂 town hall looked like. That part of town is so much different now.

Things like shutting the railway line from Bedford to London for 9 days right before/during Christmas probably won't help. We would have gone to London today but couldn't be bothered with the rail replacement bus.
