That said, I also think your premise is off, the fact is "money is tight" is not the same as poverty. A missed paycheck or two from crisis is not poverty, poverty is basically constantly lacking resources. That's what your posts and the original blog don't see.

You can easily find data on this on kff.org. IIRC employer sponsored medical insurance for a family is at least $400/month on average. (But that's just premiums, not healthcare spending which adds thousands a year.)

3. No productivity tool, including AI, can replace institutional knowledge and niche skills. I'd be curious if 1 or 2 ever applies for non-entry level jobs.
