The problem I have with the Justice Secretary is her emotive use of language designed to influence those who do not know all the facts. But as an ex nursing sister, I know the facts. I saw with my own eyes. I never let my dogs go through what my patients had to. And my mother had to go through.

She couldn’t be more wrong. I am an ex district nursing sister. I have written to my MP, the prime minister and deputy also. I have 17 years of experience. 11 of those nursing terminally ill people in last few months/weeks, in their own homes, begging me to kill them. I had to say no. Heartbreaking
