If that is "armored", that means I drive to work "armored" every day. It looks like retrofitted civilian vehicles with little to no protection ...

mass shooting rampages in the spur of the moment. That you can protect yourself from by actually having strict gun control laws!

he defaulted back to using a hunting rifle. Granted he got that legally, but 1) it was way less lethal, and 2) he planned this terrorist attack for YEARS. You cannot protect yourself from these kinds of people by just banning guns! That is different from people who in vast majority of cases go on

Yeah, and you also know what that nut tried to do? He tried to acquire assault rifles legally, couldn't do it because we don't hand them out like candies, he ended up driving through central europe in an attempt to aquire them illegally (but not even criminals wanted to sell weapons to him) so

Well, ok. So culling is fine? So there is a legitimate reason to hunt, then?

You can go and grab an AK-47 or AR-15 in a sports outlet in my country too, with the right permits. Weird how we've never had a school shooting. Problem isn't gun ownership, it's gun culture.

Economy has no teeth anymore, so all it can do is suck

Hunting serves a broader range than just "hobby" (culling of invasive species for instance). There's countries (including my own) with a high amount of privately owned guns per capita but a low gun crime rate. The issue with the US isn't gun ownership, it's your gun culture.

Really? No reason whatsoever?

There are parts of my country where owning a firearm for a civilian is required by law, and not carrying a firearm might risk you ending up as lunch. Other reasons: humane killing of wounded animals and hunting. Self defense is also absolutely a valid argument.
