This water grand trine and Pisces Moon weekend was a perfect one to teach reiki for the first time. It feels like I crossed a threshold when the Moon moved into Aries at the end! I hope the watery vibes are treating everyone else well too ✨️🌙

Travelling north in Scotland over the Equinox, I'm seeing an increasingly rich tapestry of colours. And have been fortunate to have the Sun with me to bring it out! This is called a lochan (a small loch or lake) and it's located along the West Highland Way.

Enjoying the green while I still can 🌳🌿

It feels autumnal already in Scotland this week, especially after travelling back from SE England - but today the sun was just lovely

He sets out on this voyage in March 1717. I don't have the exact date so have used the 1st. In any case, it was a process more than an event, between making his decision, commissioning the ship, hiring its 70-man (rather contemptuous) crew, its launch and beginning piracy activity. 3/7

Stede Bonnet, known as the 'gentleman pirate', famously had an entire library built into the pirate ship he commissioned as part of his epic mid-life crisis in 1717.

I don't have a birth time, but 12pm gives him a partile Moon-Mercury conjunction in Virgo, opposed by Neptune in Pisces. 1/7

I'd never seen this speech before - it's very powerful. Seeing how viral it had gone overnight, I took a quick look at his chart - the Sun is right on his MC and the Venus-Jupiter conjunction on his North Node

This is a positive take on a shift I believe is interwoven with Pluto's transit through Aquarius. Our conceptions of intelligence and consciousness, and who and what can have them, are transforming. This applies (interconnectedly) to nonhuman life and technology. We were never alone in the universe.

nice way of looking at astrology book collecting 📚🥰

Interestingly, too, the position of next week's new moon in the early degrees of Leo prefigures that of Jupiter this time next year, when it forms the famous basket configuration that Andre Barbault looked to as an indication of major global change. [3/6]

This Leo new moon forms a basket configuration with all the outer planets - Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, Saturn-Neptune in Aries.

This could mean that what is being germinated in our Leo houses natally may be connected to the major collective shifts currently underway. [1/6]

I haven't listened to that one yet but your point reminded me of this book I recently came across - there were certainly disabled people in Ancient times. And plenty of burial evidence from other times and cultures. It may have been conceived of differently, but disability has always been present

Happy Uranus in Gemini ♊️

Not only did it ingress on the same day as my progressed Moon, but within minutes of each other.

Current vibe: can only be described as tired but wired

More green 💚

Yes, the summer is rainy in Scotland but it does mean it is so very green

Actually really enjoying Venus transiting Taurus so late this year, overlapping with a Jupiter-enhanced Cancer season!

I keep just walking around, adoring the colours and textured complexity of nature. This is the river Clyde, Scotland, and a buttercup meadow on a hill overlooking it

A wee pilgrimage with some friends to my home landscape at sunset. Sun-Jupiter is on the Descendant, just below the horizon. I truly love and feel connected to these hills.

I'm currently researching lunar archaeocosmology.

I believe that stone circles may have had special experiential significance in moonlight, animating the monoliths...

I'll write up these ideas in a longer piece soon - currently my cycle is waxing as I read extensively on lunar mythology 🌙✨️🤍 [6/6]

The Moon, then, embodies the rhythms of life as an incarnate being.

Ancient peoples knew this well, and we find notched bones dating back tens of millennia, that were probably used for timekeeping and for keeping track of menses (which of course has a similar etymological root) [5/6]

At the same time, using secondary progression, we develop in a larger cycle every 28 years, which complements that of Saturn.

The Moon is thus a measure of time, one that stands in contrast, and in complementarity, to that of Saturn.

We see this reflected in their rulerships in the zodiac. [4/6]

The Moon's cycle is a rhythm of ebb and flow - alternating between fullness and emptiness.

Evidently associated with the tides, we perhaps see this reflected in her triplicity rulership of Water.

She cycles around the zodiac each month, and, through reflection, events become experience. [2/6]
