If they had gone with a proper Single-payer system that materially delivered for the people in a tangible enough way, then propaganda wouldn't have worked. But Obamacare was basically Romneycare, which while *better* definitely did not go far enough to deliver.

The "far too liberal" is just the result of the propaganda from Fox and other right-wing pundits who would literally bill mass deportation as "too liberal" if the D's presented it. Their opinion should rightfully be ignored because there is no good-faith discussion on the merits.

If the Dems gave a shit about the people who put them in power back in 08, they would have completely ignored the R's, and just delivered materially to the people that voted for them. They didn't. And now we have this. They had the votes to pass *EVERYTHING* that Obama ran on. And they didn't.

Sorry, I was an '08 Obama voter that voted for broad sweeping changes and hope, and got shafted by calls for bipartisanship that in the end resulted in almost complete capitulation without a single R vote.

Because of the Joe Manchins, the R's basically got their way even when Obama had a super majority. At least *some* of the D's are putting up a fight in congress. But the way Schumer just rolled over and let them have their way the one place they *could* have stood for something? 🤮

Not having the majority has never stopped the R's from flailing around and tossing shit all over everything/everyone.
