That being the mass erosion of privacy and a lack of proper regulation about what kinds of user data companies should be allowed to collect.

But now, just to sign up for something you need to give your legal name, physical address, email address, phone number, etc.

It's no wonder hacks and breaches have become so common when all it takes is one successful breach to have access to hundreds of thousands of user's personal data.
