🧵[1/2] Closing my V2 makeover chapter with proper credits.

3D modeling tip of the day:

When struggling with VRC’s performance rating you can shave off the back half of the eyes to cut triangle count, what isn’t seen in the final product doesn’t matter and can be safely removed.

I freed up hundreds of triangles in just 30s of effort.

Realistic Armpit System V2

After more experimentation and an optimized V2 topology, the shoulder and armpit now stay much more stable even when moved forward or backward, not just up and down.

I might offer it as an optional add-on for future commissions if there’s interest 🤔

Here's a cool Blender tip i don't see used often

Before exporting add a Triangulate modifier with the Beautify option, it converts polys into triangles while keeping optimal flow.
While Unity does this automatically, it gives unpredictable and worse shading results.
