If a cult was built around worshipping the cult leader themselves rather than a God, then that human would be damned for the sin of Pride. I think it would be cool if they could take a form like this if they got powerful enough. Considering exploring this through a Vox-type character

it's a False God, an entity manifest from the will of sinners in life who devoted themselves to cults. It's moulded by the twisted beliefs of what god would be like by these cults, who continue to worship them in death.
