Today I saw a cool bug.
Glossy, black beetle, about 2.5 cm long, with geometric orange pattern on its wings and the cutest little orange balls on the end if it’s antennae. Nicrophorus tomentosus (gold-necked carrion beetle or tomentose burying beetle).

Ooo I have this one or something very similar. Mine is fragrant in the afternoon sun. Do you know the name of yours?
Blooming phalaenopsis orchids, with central focus on the phal with yellow petals and sepals, with a hot pink lip and a perfusion of hot pink spots radiating out from center and becoming more diffuse as they reach the edge of the petals, making the petal to appear orange.

Yellow phalaenopsis with pink veins/stripes and a hot pink and yellow lip. Lightly fragrant. Yellow Phal with concentrated pink spots that become more defuse as one moves out to the edge of the petals; the Phal almost looks orange with a hot pink center and lip. Intensely fragrant in the afternoon sun.
