I've been simmering pots of cinnamon sticks & cloves for almost two months. I keep a pitcher of water by the stove to top off the pot's water periodically throughout the day. (Dumping the pot contents out every few days when the scent fades; starting over.) House smells great and has more humidity.

I think you would love a chef salad at Big Jim's in Pittsburgh. It comes in a serving bowl as big as your head, perfect fries on top. Actually most places in PGH put fries on salads. I missed that when I moved to CT & I have been known to McDonald's drive thru for fries if I grab a salad elsewhere.

Oh wow. 👎 How long are you there for?

Two weeks ago I drove to the Burgh, stayed less than 24 hours, then went back with Aunt Chris. I drove to Pittsburgh yesterday to bring Aunt Chris home. Was gonna leave today to go back to CT. Decided to take another PTO day and wait until tomorrow to drive. 🥱

That will be me tomorrow!
