when I received my mom’s ashes I opened the box just to look at them. It spilled on me. I was laugh crying for ten minutes. She told me she would haunt me before she died and eventually I had to tell her to stop heh.

White people need to address their own racism and internal bias. That’s really where it needs to start, I think. Most white americans deny they are racist which I would argue is *absolutely* not true. They are. It sucks.

The average reading level of an american is fourth grade. Reading more would totally advance compassion and empathy. Also, I doubt most americans have been out of the country, much less out of their state, as it’s a huge country. Just my opinion. Certainly it’s more complicated.
