okay episode 2 was a bit better but ngl I don't find this show scary at all lol tbf I didn't think the movies were scary either. they were funny though, which is why I liked them but the show isn't funny at all

just to be clear I mean that people should direct their energy at the internal biases and general lack of fairness and equality within awards bodies instead of at actors and shows who do get nominated lol like there's just no need to be publicly insulting about someone else's work yk
once again if caring about an award show that is rarely even about the best performance in any given category for that year is gonna turn every fan into a bitter angry asshole maybe we should all just care about this a lot less

it's so funny to me that every time there's stupid fandom discourse where people try to speak for the actors an interview will drop where the actors say literally the opposite thing lol
“sam and jacob thought the reunion was ass” actually, clearly, they didn’t. they just didn’t have the time or environment to sit with it. and the level of contrition rolin is referring to, i think, is what jacob speaks to here. we don’t want louis to grovel. he shouldn’t. and ultimately he doesn’t.

also I think people are misunderstanding what rolin was saying. when he said they struggled with getting the right amount of contrition, he meant they were struggling with how to make the apology dialogue work without making Louis sounding *too* contrite. Jacob says at much here:
