Its not even on the fetal stage. What we have is literally no AI at all. The name just leads to daydream.
Is as much AI as say, Clipper or Akinator. It doesn't have any semblance of consciousness. Not even the seed.
If we ever get a true AI it will not be born for these.

I use that to power myself forward. If this or that style looked tempting when it was a person doing it, someone I would never be able to mimic because of human individuality and uniqueness, now the parts that are product of machine regurgitation are more at hand, i can reach and surpass them!

The masses are jaded, skeptic, misinformed and too busy fighting between themselves about moot points. The big powers have realized that if they stop pretending they care they can do virtually anything and people will just yell "someone! Do something!" then shrug and move on.
