It’s a template, so you can do anything just about you can do in a template.but previewing email is a very complicated thing because every provider displays it differently. I think it’d be very hard to iterate successfully on that, especially with anything complex

Is it possible to customize the order that posts appear in the Micro.blog newsletter? I’d like uncategorized posts to appear first, and then posts from a specific category (the category name is Mitchellaneous). Also, is it possible to preview changes to the newsletter design and CSS, so that I’m not blasting my subscribers with a janky design? Thanks!

Yes, it does, but I don’t always go full screen mode, so it did not remember my preference of my choice which ones I want to show.

The dropcap works well in single posts for long-form content. Thanks to Perplexity for helping out with that. It was exhausting after many hours figuring out what I did wrong! Sigh.

When your blog feels out of sync, it often helps to nudge it into doing a full rebuild. Navigate to the logs page and press _Rebuild_. It will take a couple of minutes, and once it’s ready, your extra post should hopefully be gone.

I’ve been using an Obsidian plugin to synchronize local notes with my micro blog, which generally has been working well. The Issue I have right now is that, after changing the URL of a post, the old version of my post from before the URL change still exists, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to delete it. It doesn’t show up in my accounts/posts list page.

I believe the new editor now does remember this preference in full screen mode.

I agree. That is annoying the I had to show them every time I write a new post. I hope it will get fixed,.so it can remember our preference!

I just installed **Micro.blog Open External Links**. But how do I know if this plugin is working? If it is a plugin, what should I do with it? I am curious. I may have some “Blonde” moments here. Please help me understand how plugins work. I also saw a post about opening external links outside of the micro.blog page. That means I would have to add <a href=” “…> to every new link I create, which is pretty much a hassle. That’s a relief. I was concerned that someone had managed to alter the CSS on the host.

They are also working here now, but they were not down for only a few minutes. When I noticed it, I rebuilt the site myself a few times trying to fix it. They were not working for a few hours. From around 10:00am to 12:15pm (UTC 0), when I had to leave. In other words, it started working again sometime between 12:15pm pm (UTC 0) and now.

Those links work for me. Could it be that you caught your site in the middle of a rebuild?

A user (agent) style sheet is provided by your browser or a browser extension. Judging from the example you provide, it looks like it might come from an ad blocker.

From what I can see… and I’ve spent hours looking at themes, templates and custom options, it appears to be inherent to the Kiko theme even though I can’t see it in the CSS files. Decided to switch to a different theme as troubleshooting was starting to take up way too much time.
