As a fairly recent escapee from Magastan (Florida), I once again state that I’m so grateful my adult children received good educations all those years ago before this s&!t started. DeSantis and Abbott are doing their best to try to take on the MAGA mantle.

A psychologist I used to follow in the old Twitter during Trump 1.0 said he would burn everything down in order to save himself. It’s part of the malignant narcissism that he surely has. He‘s a sick, sick man (who has the nuclear codes).

I hang my head in shame...every day. Hard to believe we have crazy people in charge (Trump, Hegseth) making decisions that are so out of control. Any military standing up to them saying "I can't do this"? If they are, we are not hearing about them. Are they all loyalists and ok with this?

Not to mention those who will go hungry...this is more than I can handle at this time. I have donated to food banks, I have donated to feed the Federal Employees impacted by the shutdown. I don't know what else I can do and I am overwhelmed with sadness. Trump is burning everything down...

How can they live with themselves? I am so grateful I was raised to be an empathetic adult who received a wonderful education where I learned to use critical thinking skills to evaluate and determine what is right or wrong. Evil is too kind a word...
