Happy birthday Ian!!

If you've read this far, thanks for being along for the ride. I've been quiet on here, especially recently, but it wont last forever. I have soooo much more to do and show you all. Be safe with new years festivities, love you all, and I'll see you next year. 🤘

At the end of the day, I have so much to be thankful for. My family, my friends, this awesome life I get to live, and I don't want to take any of it for granted. I want people to know I appreciate them, and I'm gonna work extra hard to that end.

But I'm determined not to dwell on it. Tomorrow resets the calendar. So here's what I want to see happen: next year, I want to put out more music with my name on it than ever. My year record is 10 songs I believe, so I wanna beat that. This COULD be achieved by as early as March, but we'll see.

I'm glazing over the bad stuff, but its been there. Health scares, dead end work, losing friends, relationship amd financial strain, its been omnipresent. It seems like every week has had its own unique brand of bullshit to deal with and I can't say I've dealt with it particularly well as it comes.

All the while I've made new friends and really started to lean into fursuiting as a hobby which has been amazing! In the past, I've got into communities for my hobbies by myself. This time though, it feels good knowing my wife is as into it as I am. Makes me very hopeful for more future adventures.

I've auditioned for and joined bands, I've been getting fairly steady session work, plus I'm seeing the completion of an album that I've been working on for far too long. Last year, I worked on about 30 songs, this year I'm running about the same average, but most of the music has been collabs.

This year has had some record highs and earth shattering lows. Seems to be a theme with a lot of folks, so I'm not really special. Here's what is special though: for the last several years I've made it a goal to get out and play music for people. This year I got to do that a bunch!

Its.... its rough. This has been a difficult year for many and I'm incredibly fortunate to have such amazing people in my life that offset the misery. It hurts like hell to lose even 1 of them.
