Spent the afternoon in our nursery playing Sonic 3, Road Rash, and a few other old sega games. Had a blast but also sad because they made me think of some really good times in my childhood that I’ll never experience again.

Something about diapers that come in packs of 20 instead of 10 make them seem more babyish.
I realized as I was getting up early for work this morning that I’d left a light on in our nursery… this scen seemed almost mystical like it was a scene from my childhood peaking out at me from the late 80’s

Rewatching Newsroom is a bit more bittersweet everytime. The show itself is phenominal and the cast amazing. It’s just sad how ahead of its time and how prescient the writing was… as if Andy Sorkin had clear line of sight to where we are today… but 10 years ago.

I found a recipe for traditional Sugar Plums. For anyone who’s never made them, they are delicious, nostolgic, and old timey Christmas candies of dried fruit nuts and spice, rolled in sugar. The main ingredient is prunes, so messy furs do with that what you will.
