Eventually, I decided to continue my walk. As I took a couple of steps away, I heard a clear 'Go fuck yourself' from the side of the tree, with a strong crow accent, at which point I looked very puzzled.

Continuing to observe the crow, I noticed a dog approaching  to the tree to pee. At that moment, the crow started barking at the dog. The dog stopped and looked equally puzzled.
