The Miami Open has so far not been the best for in terms of success over the board, but it has given me the chance to reconnect with dear friends and acquaintances from many years ago, and from events in Monte Carlo and Las Vegas, among them the delightful legend Carol Joy Cole from Flint, Michigan.
