I wouldn’t pin any of the goals on Fowler. I would still probably send him to Laval soon because Monty seems to have found his game

I knew there was an issue when Martone was named captain. Last year I heard that scouts were concerned with his work ethic and character, and those issues showed up here. Perhaps the worst choice for captain they could have made.

My bold New Year prediction, well actually not so bold, Monty gets 2-3 starts, shows no improvement. The Habs shop him around and some team trades a middle round draft pick on him in the hopes that a change of scenery will help. He kicks around for maybe another season, and he’s done.
