3) Strange Houses by Uketsu

I don’t really have a lot to say here. This was a fun little book to listen to during work. It was a little mysterious and a little sad as most Japanese writers tend to be. Nothing wrong with it just no wow factor.

This is my first experience reading Te-Nehisi Coates. This should be required reading in schools. The part about Israel/Palestine really hits hard in these days. It’s all so sad and so unnecessary.

The third book of A Song of Ice and Fire and this was a fantastic read. It’s a massive book but worth it. The character work that the author does is amazing. It really feels like a History’s guide to Westeros

I had a lot of fun reading this book. A detective mystery in a clockwork Egypt filled with magical beings, what’s not to love. So many books out recycling same ideas it’s great when a unique concept comes about.
