Be kind. You are not alone.
She makes me think of Carl Hiaasen's 2020 novel Squeeze Me, where a character like her got eaten by an eighteen foot python, it's really good, you should read it

I've never heard of them, but Vulcan Death Grip is a perfect name for a rock band. Right up there with Nerf Herder.

Something Trek fans may not know: there's a rock band named Spock's Beard, and they play some of the best symphonic progressive rock you've ever heard.

I can't rap or dance, can I request a guitar battle a la Ralph Macchio vs Steve Vai?

I am greatly enjoying this rewatch - as a fan who watched every single episode of Babylon 5 when it was first aired, I can say that Keith R.A. DeCandido 100% gets how good this show was when it was firing on all cylinders.

6) The American President: This movie was released in 1995, and I think the President Shepherd that screwed over the woman he loved for a crime bill was who the creators thought Bill Clinton was, and the guy who said guns were a national security threat was who they wanted Clinton to be. (end)

5)...and anybody that ever got heavily bullied in high school knows faculty members who could stop it, but don't, because they believe you should be bullied and and they enjoy your pain. Especially if you are a male and not "masculine" enough. I knew Jessups in high school, most of them coaches.

5) A Few Good Men: I remember identifying greatly with Kevin Pollak's character. Lt. Weinberg, who correctly pointed out the defendants were bullies who violently punished a "weaker kid." And then during Jessup's speech his evil came to the surface and he sneered at Weinberg...

4) Misery: Readers knew about the ax scene, and personally I was dreading it, I'm not a fan of gore. But what the movie did somehow seemed worse - nobody could relate to what happened in the book, but most of us have broken a bone.

3) The Princess Bride: Everybody knows this film through it's humor, it's adventure, it's humanism; but after my first watching I found out the score was written by the great Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits. I went back to see it again just to listen to to the score. m.youtube.com/watch?v=svbv...

2) Stand By Me: I remember sitting in the audience and not knowing what to expect. This was a Stephen King story, but not horror and not supernatural. During the bridge crossing scene I was thinking of the same scene in The Body, and how the narrator was crazily enjoying it - the movie got it right.

...also, during one flashback I thought, "can I please be in the movie so I can be the murderer, I'll confess to Benoit Blanc immediately but I really want to kill that hypocrite bastard"
