2/2 so question truly is, "what is actual goal, here?", forced conformity at all cost or actually do what helps? medical goal is latter, but just now, we are fully moving in direction of the former and sad bit is we've already been there and KNOW the harms..truly horrific we're headed back there now

imo one key bit consistently missing from entire conversation is GAC is literally ONLY treatment with ANY evidence of any quality shown to actually help trans people improve quality of life and literally ALL we can imagine has been tried/failed/made it worse in attempt to "change" them to cis/hetero

Labour already IS basically "Reform"..literally ONLY viable party if not seeking some form of fascism is Greens (maybe LD)..How many times will UK vote for "RW light" only to end up going HARD RW to STOP F voting for RW policy (which Labour now supports) that has for 2 decades RUINED UK. 2/2 for example I am continually astonished by extent people keep asking questions suggesting GOP somehow actually value freedom and that narrative has fully infiltrated ALL mainstream media. allowing bigots to own the narrative and how they describe themselves is becoming a fatal flaw in coverage.

actually it's more that "freedom of speech" can ONLY exist *WITH* the "latter" right to monologue. nobody is better to ask on that than Erin and she has references on her webpages. personally I'd go to Canada 1st due to family (not Alberta), Austraila 2nd (w/o familial ties AU would be 1st), and some EU nations after that. even Mexico is ending up better than USA, but I don't trust their systems.

imo, NOW is *EXACTLY* time to start creating independent GAC systems outside hospitals..that affiliation USED to be needed due to special nature of GAC..but really, most GAC today is standardized enough it doesn't need such. Also..this is NOT done deal where all WILL "lose care", esp as states fight

true..guess my point is there was a time there was a need for hospital-affilation, due to specialized nature..but now, if you do NOT ignore facts, most GAC is fairly standardized..so much of it could disaffilate from hospitals and continue..but states w/ protections best be ready to defend them too!
