Yeah that’s what takes the most time in it all. YT growth is much slower than Twitch. Just make sure you have a target audience in mind when you’re making the videos and keep posting, eventually YT will likely find who your audience is and then it will start to creep up! 🙏🏻

True about sample size for stats.
Posting time will affect initial performance, but beyond a day or two its impact will tend to 0 as the algorithm (the actual one) keeps trying to find an audience for it.

Ultimately the “algorithm” you want to care about is the viewer experience, pacing, etc.

There’s a lot of bad algorithm advice out there honestly.

The main points really are:
- The audience (and how much they watch) IS the algorithm
- Get into the main content quickly if you don’t have an intro hook
- Short outros directing to more content
- Study your retention graph

There are, as you've eluded to here, *so many* social apps now it's head-spinning. My current thought is: YouTube, TikTok (if non-US), BlueSky (+ IG if I can suffer opening that platform)
